Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Technician Associate to support operations and maintenance of wind farms and related facilities. You will perform safe scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, and provide technical guidance to the O&M team.

The role requires strong safety focus, ability to work in a team, and willingness to relocate within 1 hour of the site. Training and safety exercises are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in sciences or related field preferred.
• Alternatively, 2-year or 4-year technical degree in engineering, physics, power, or similar.
• Journeyman or master electrician license preferred; 2+ years in O&M for power generation.
• Valid driver license in good standing; willing to relocate within 1 hour of site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all O&M activities are performed safely per site policies.
• Assist in acceptance and performance tests after maintenance or outages.
• Provide back-up support to personnel at other RWE sites when needed.
• Assist turbine maintenance, including services and repair work.
• Support Balance of Plant procedures, including substation and collection system maintenance.
• Promote and uphold the company values and behaviors.
