RWE Americas is hiring a Wind Farm Technician Associate to support the operations and maintenance of wind farms and related facilities, focusing on safety, reliability, and asset availability. This entry-level role helps develop foundational technical and safety skills by working with experienced technicians.

Responsibilities include assisting with scheduled maintenance, basic troubleshooting, repairs, and documenting activities in the maintenance system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification or associate degree in renewable energy technology preferred.
• 2 year or 4 year college degree in technical science like engineering, physics, power, or closely related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support safe execution of operations and maintenance activities per site policies and EHS requirements.
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems and BoP equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and data collection to monitor performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project tasks.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to planning and scheduling.
