Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Wind Farm Technician Associate to support operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms in the United States. You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with turbine and substation work while following safety policies.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, safety focus, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A valid driver's license and willingness to relocate within an hour of the site are

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate's degree in sciences or related field preferred
Two- or four-year technical degree in engineering, physics, power or similar
Journeyman/master electrician license preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure safe execution of maintenance and operations at wind farm site
Assist in acceptance and performance testing of systems after maintenance/outages
Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems
Support turbine maintenance and balance of plant procedures
Maintain tools, equipment, and records in the maintenance system
