RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Wind Farm Technician Associate to support the operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms. The role emphasizes safe execution of maintenance, troubleshooting, and training within a team environment.

Responsibilities include tool and equipment readiness, CMMS record-keeping, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (Associate's degree preferred), 2+ years in power generation or wind turbine settings, a valid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2-year or 4-year technical degree in engineering, physics, power, or closely related field.
• Licenses/certifications: Journeyman/Master Electrician or Wind Tech Certificate preferred.
• Valid unrestricted driver license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of operations/maintenance experience in power generation or wind turbine environments.
• Experience with wind turbines (Vestas, GE, Acciona, Nordex) is preferred.
• Military technical background considered an asset.
• Ability to relocate within 1 hour of site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all O&M activities are performed safely per site policies.
• Assist with acceptance and performance tests on systems and equipment.
• Provide back-up for wind turbine maintenance and balance of plant tasks.
• Troubleshoot, service, and replace turbine components as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; document service in CMMS.
• Adhere to company values and conduct safety-first operations.
