Job summary

EDP Renewables in Texas seeks an Operations Site Supervisor to oversee wind power facilities, lead daily O&M activities, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will coordinate with engineering, accounting, and development teams, manage maintenance contracts, monitor KPIs, and engage with local communities to build rapport while maximizing facility performance.

Strong communication, problem solving, and technical knowledge are essential, along with willingness to travel as needed to sites

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in wind energy.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database application.
• Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance for balance-of-plant assets (100–400 MW) within established operating guidelines.
• Interface with local communities to establish and maintain rapport.
• Oversee facilities’ operations, maintenance-related contracts, and agreements for sites under warranty.
• Manage turbine operations and maintenance for sites off-warranty.
• Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting per safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor facility performance against KPIs and expected results.
• Engage internal/external resources as needed.
• Represent the company locally before interconnection and customer entities.
• Represent the company in landowner and community relationships.
