Job summary

Enel North America seeks a seasoned Operations & Maintenance Leader to coordinate field activities, manage safety, and control site budgets. You will oversee 24/7 readiness, interface with procurement and support teams, and drive performance improvements across wind assets and substations. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential.

You will mentor staff, develop multi-year maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with NERC/OSHA guidelines while delivering on KPIs and project milestones.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of operations and maintenance or construction experience, wind energy background preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing third party service providers.
• Project contract management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling, reporting.
• Must be able to travel 25%.
• Knowledge of WTGs, substations, SCADA, PPE, and related site equipment.
• Ability to work in a team and take initiative in problem solving.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs with safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field work and maintenance across sites, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Manage site budgets, forecasting, and KPI performance.
• Maintain site documentation and historic project data.
• Coordinate on-site maintenance with third-party providers and ON-CALL teams.
• Develop annual and five-year maintenance plans with Operations Manager.
• Assist with work scopes, quotes, scheduling, and capital project implementation.
• Interface with Operations Support for plant performance actions and improvement plans.
• Mentor junior staff and manage performance reviews.
