Job summary

AES Corporation's West Camp Wind Farm in Holbrook, AZ seeks a Seasoned Team Leader, Plant Operations to lead site safety, operations, and performance.

The role requires 8+ years in wind generation or plant maintenance, leadership experience, CMMS SAP proficiency, SCADA familiarity, and strong communication.

You will oversee maintenance scheduling, regulatory compliance (OSHA, NERC, CAISO), manage contractors, and contribute to budget and 24/7 emergency response.

Qualifications

• Wind generation or plant operations experience with 8+ years.
• Experience leading a team and managing contractors.
• Proficiency with CMMS systems (SAP) and standard software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (NERC/NFPA 70E) and high voltage safety.
• Ability to climb towers up to 400 feet and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractual requirements across project entities.
• Schedule maintenance, repairs, and warranty work at the facility.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, NERC, CAISO) and environmental rules.
• Source and manage third-party contractors.
• Manage balance of plant duties including substations, roads, and vegetation.
• Maintain 24/7 emergency response and outage handling.
• Assist in operating budget management.
