Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager for our Bristol, IN site. You will lead the Global WHS Program, partner with Operations leaders, and drive safety excellence while maintaining productivity.

This role blends hands‑on safety with strategic leadership, data analytics, and robust risk management to protect associates and optimize operations. The successful candidate will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety trends, and implement practical improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program implementation and WHS initiatives across the site.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to drive improvements.
• Audit facilities, identify non‑compliance, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage first aid program and emergency response capabilities.
