Job summary

James Avery Artisan Jewelry in Cedar Park, Texas seeks a Wholesale Sales Manager to drive wholesale sales, educate and develop account associates, and forge strong relationships with store and district leadership. You will partner with Wholesale, Visual, and Retail Operations teams to broaden brand reach.

Travel up to 80%+, lead training seminars, and deliver consistent brand messaging across distribution points while growing items per customer and improving service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 1 year experience in retail leadership.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrates leadership and collaboration with positive demeanor in challenging situations.
• Experience in a dynamic fast-paced environment with problem-solving and time management.
• Ability to learn new systems to support Sales & Marketing activities.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Basic proficiency with Excel: common functions and data handling.
• Must reside within territory near a national airport and within 20 miles of a wholesale account.
• Ability to travel up to 80%+ with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: develop cadence strategy to maximize sales and minimize travel expenses.
• District Business Analysis: identify opportunities to drive district sales and inventory turn.
• Training & Development: deliver training and ongoing support to account teams.
• Visual Merchandising: ensure brand standards at point of sale.
• Competitive Review: assess competitors to improve assortments and merchandising.
• Administrative: prepare documents and track deliveries and expenses.
