Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking a dynamic Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead strategic initiatives in western Pennsylvania. This role focuses on growing the practice, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality projects.

Ideal candidates have 11–15 years of experience, a PA PE license or eligible by comity, and strong business development, leadership, and communication skills to drive growth across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership and client-management capabilities in water/wastewater projects.
• Strong business development, proposal writing, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic growth of WRA’s water/wastewater practice in western Pennsylvania.
• Build and maintain relationships with regional clients such as ALCOSAN and PWSA.
• Identify, pursue, and manage water and wastewater projects from concept through completion.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering staff to support growth.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to drive firmwide growth initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans and drive execution.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
