Job summary
Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced Transportation - Water Resources Engineer to join our regional office. The role focuses on hydrologic/hydraulic studies, drainage, SWM/ESC design for transportation projects, and development of environmental permits and contract documents.

Qualifications
- ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years in hydrology/hydraulics and drainage design
- Licensed PE in PA or able to obtain within 6 months via comity
- Experience with PennDOT/PA Turnpike and PA municipalities is a plus
- Knowledge of PennDOT/PA Turnpike specs is preferred
- Experience with listed H/H design software
- Experience with 3D design tools such as OpenRoads is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic studies and drainage/SWM/ESC design for transportation projects
- Develop environmental permits and contract documents; conduct QC/reviews
- Support marketing and business development; mentor staff
