Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP seeks an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will lead hydrologic/hydraulic studies and drainage design for transportation projects, collaborating with PennDOT, PA Turnpike Commission, and municipalities.

Qualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering, 16+ years’ experience, and PA PE licensure or equivalent via comity. The role includes environmental permits, contract documents, QC, marketing support, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering.
• 16+ years of hydrology/hydraulics/drainage/SWM/ESC design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in PA or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic studies and drainage, stormwater, and ESC design for transportation projects.
• Prepare environmental permits and contract documents; perform QC/peer reviews; support marketing/business development.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff; ensure quality and timely project delivery.
