Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises is seeking a dependable dishwasher to keep dishware clean and ready for service in our Florida locations. You will ensure sanitation policies are followed and contribute to a spotless kitchen environment throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and maintaining dishes, assisting with opening/closing tasks, and supporting the team to uphold high cleanliness standards while adhering to food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for full shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Work in damp, high-temperature environments.
• Complete and pass food safety certification per policy.

• Washes and sanitizes dishware, glassware, and utensils.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area during shift.

Overview

You’re a key piece of the puzzle, taking great care to make sure every single thing is cleaned and sanitized to the highest of standards.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
• Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
• Support fellow employees as needed
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
