Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises in Wellington, FL is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support the kitchen team and ensure clean, sanitized dishware and utensils throughout shifts.

You will follow safety and sanitation policies, help with opening/closing duties, and maintain a clean work area in a fast-paced environment. We offer health insurance, a 401K plan, paid vacation, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift.
• Comfort with damp, hot, and high-temperature environments.

• Washes and sanitizes dishware and utensils per Flanigan’s policies
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweeps, mops, removes debris
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
• Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
• Support fellow employees as needed
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
