Job summary

GDH is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide on-site technical support, installation, and maintenance in Midland, TX. You will troubleshoot Windows 10 systems and standard desktop software, and assist with network configurations.

Responsibilities include LAN/WAN tasks, cable installations, and managing Cisco/Aruba/Ubiquiti radios. Travel within West Texas is required, with occasional overnight stays. You will document incidents in the service system and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering field IT support and client services.
• Proficient with Windows 10 and MS Office.
• Experience with LAN/WAN tech and cabling.
• Willingness to travel West Texas with possible overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and upgrade Windows 10 systems and desktop software.
• Provide LAN/WAN configuration and cable installations.
• Rack and stack equipment in technical environments.
• Support Cisco, Aruba, and Ubiquiti radios.
• Assist with iOS device enrollment and app updates.
• Manage Active Directory objects and basic Group Policy.
