Job summary

iNet is seeking a Technical Services Specialist to deploy next-generation technologies and support mission-critical installations in Midland, TX. This on-site role focuses on ensuring performance, reliability, and client satisfaction across deployments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field tech or tech support, strong networking and RF knowledge, and Cisco/Network+ training. Expect regular hours with occasional on-call work and hands-on testing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred in electronics, engineering tech, networking, or systems engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on field technician or technical support experience.
• Experience in networking, telecommunications, and wireless solutions.
• Certifications or training in Cisco, Network+ or similar technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls and RF tech (VSAT, LTE, Wi-Fi).

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment execution by coordinating across provisioning, field operations, logistics, and client teams.
• Validate and certify equipment to meet manufacturer specs and iNet standards.
• Enhance field readiness by developing testing and certification protocols.
• Support field and remote operations with technical guidance during site activations, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Operate across shop/warehouse with occasional field deployments using diagnostics to verify system integrity.
