Job summary

Cogent Infotech seeks a Network Field Technician/Helpdesk Field Technician to provide on-site IT support across multiple campus locations in Sweetwater, TX. You will troubleshoot networks, manage applications, and assist with deployments and security controls.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on hardware and software skills, and the ability to work with vendors and campus IT staff. This is a 4-month contract to hire, 100% onsite for local candidates.

Qualifications

• CJIS background check is required.
• On-site support availability; occasional travel between locations.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 2+ years in IT support, networking, or application administration.
• CompTIA Network+ is a plus.
