Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the U.S. West to own utility customer relationships and drive growth in distribution transformers and components. The role requires developing new accounts, expanding existing business, leading bids, and coordinating with procurement, engineering, and operations.

This remote role covers AK, WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, MT, WY, UT, HI, CO, AZ. Travel will be required and the candidate should have five years of technical sales experience, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant technical sales experience.
• 5+ years in technical sales, business development, or account management for power systems.
• Experience managing complex accounts and meeting sales objectives.
• Understanding of utility procurement, specifications, vendor qualification, and transformer applications.
• Strong pricing and margin judgment; proficient with Excel and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual territory plan for the West region.
• Build account plans for utilities; pursue vendor status and long-term supply agreements.
• Lead bids, negotiations, and cross-functional coordination with procurement and engineering.
• Maintain relationships with procurement, standards engineers, operations, and leadership.
