Job summary

Reading Truck Group seeks a Regional Sales Manager to own the West region, including AZ, UT, ID, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, HI. You will build distributor partnerships, expand fleets and municipalities, and drive profitable growth by delivering value to customers and channels.

You will lead sales initiatives, collaborate with engineering and operations, and set pricing and delivery expectations while championing Reading Truck’s brand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales experience in a related industry with a proven track record.
• Ability to develop trusted customer, distributor, and internal partnerships.
• Understand customer needs, identify opportunities, solve problems, and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Profitability across the assigned territory, meeting growth goals.
• Expand the customer and distributor portfolio by developing relationships and opening new markets.
• Grow fleet business by collaborating with Engineering on solutions and with Operations on capacity and delivery.
• Stay ahead of market and competitive activity and translate insights into action for sales leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal and customer-facing processes, enhancing safety and service.
• Balance customer needs with operational capabilities, setting pricing and lead times accordingly.
• Support customers by resolving service and warranty needs while maintaining relationships.
• Take on additional responsibilities that support team and Reading Truck’s growth.
