Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to own the West territory and drive growth across distributors, fleets, municipalities, and end users.

You are a proven relationship-builder with 5+ years in outside sales, capable of meeting sales and profitability objectives while expanding the customer base and staying ahead of competition. Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office is preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience with a proven growth track record.
• Strong ability to develop trusted customer and distributor partnerships.
• Solid business acumen, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, prioritization, and territory management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability across the assigned territory and meet growth goals.
• Expand the market by developing new relationships and opening doors in new markets.
• Grow fleet business by working with regional fleets and internal teams.
• Monitor competition and translate insights into sales actions.
• Improve internal and external processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Balance customer expectations with operational capabilities on pricing and lead times.
• Support customers by coordinating with internal teams on service and warranty needs.
• Take on additional duties to support team and company growth.
