Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West region (AZ, UT, ID, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, HI) to drive growth with distributors, fleets, municipalities, and end users.

You will own sales objectives, expand the customer base, and coordinate with Engineering and Operations on capabilities and lead times. A successful candidate has 5+ years in outside sales, a business degree, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth and revenue goals.
• Strong ability to develop trusted customer, distributor, and internal partnerships.
• Ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, prioritization, and territory management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver sales and profit objectives across your assigned territory, identifying opportunities to accelerate profitable growth.
• Grow Reading Truck’s customer and distributor portfolio by developing new relationships and expanding the customer base.
• Identify and develop opportunities with regional fleets, coordinating with Engineering on custom body solutions and Operations on capacity and lead times.
• Stay ahead of market and competitive activity and translate insights into actions for sales leadership.
• Improve internal and customer-facing processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall customer experience.
