Job summary

Reading Truck Group in the West region seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth by strengthening distributor partnerships, expanding fleet opportunities, and driving profitable revenue across AZ, UT, ID, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, and HI. You will own the territory, develop a market, uncover opportunities, and turn partnerships into measurable results.

A proven outside sales track record and a Bachelor’s degree with proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience in a comparable industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth and revenue goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Profitability: Own and deliver sales and profit objectives across your assigned territory.
• Expand the Market: Grow Reading Truck’s customer and distributor portfolio by developing new relationships.
• Grow Fleet Business: Identify opportunities with regional fleets and coordinate with Engineering on custom body solutions.
• Know the Competition: Monitor market activity and translate insights into sales actions.
• Improve How We Work: Strengthen processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and customer experience.
• Deliver on Customer Expectations: Balance needs with capabilities and set pricing/lead times expectations.
• Support the Customer: Partner with internal teams to resolve service and warranty needs.
• Step Up & Contribute: Take on additional responsibilities to support growth.
