Job summary

WAC Lighting is seeking a Regional Commercial Lighting Specification Sales Manager for the West to lead growth in the Ontario, CA area. The role focuses on building strategic customer relationships and managing an independent sales representative network within the territory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of sales leadership in the lighting industry, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a track record of strategic sales planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales leadership experience, including management of an independent sales force.
• Lighting industry experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven success developing and executing strategic sales plans.
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
• Residence within the territory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
• Lead, train, and support independent sales representatives to maximize performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, sales partners, and internal teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to drive growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with business development, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Manage account performance, budgets, and sales forecasts.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure long-term account success.
