Job summary

Casambi Technologies Inc. seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead growth across the Eastern half of North America.

This senior leader will be the primary contact for the region, strengthening relationships with agents, specifiers, distributors, contractors, and other market partners while translating company strategy into regional plans. The role requires 7+ years in lighting or related industries, proven outside sales success, and strong strategic, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in lighting, lighting controls, electrical supply, or related industry.
• Proven outside‑sales success across agency, specification, distribution, contractor, or OEM channels.
• Ability to build territory plans, manage a sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and use performance data to improve results.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, written communication, presentation, and public‑speaking skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms; HubSpot experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and passport; frequent travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with revenue and market-development objectives.
• Set annual and quarterly sales plans with agency partners and track progress.
• Review dashboards, CRM data, pipeline activity, forecasts, and KPIs to drive decisions.
• Maintain and expand relationships with agents, specifiers, engineers, architects, distributors, and contractors.
• Recruit and develop new agents in underrepresented markets.
• Support agents through joint sales calls, design discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Deliver education and product training to build partner confidence.
• Identify opportunities from specification to order and coordinate resources.
