Qualifications

• Advanced scientific terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 8+ years of experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience managing field-based medical teams.
• Proven performance in earlier role.
• Experience supervising field-based medical teams preferred.
• Practical understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA guidelines.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for conferences, congresses, meetings and KOL/HCP interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the MSLs within their region.
• Develop individual talent within the MSL team, including goal setting, oversight and development.
• Provide field-level scientific leadership in assigned therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and alliance leadership.
• Ensure targets are clearly defined and information cascaded within the organization.
