Job summary

Eisai is seeking an Associate Director or Director, MSL, Oncology for the West Region. This field-based leadership role drives scientific engagement with HCPs, KOLs and cross-functional teams to advance our oncology portfolio and clinical studies. Extensive travel and regulatory understanding are required.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced scientific degree with 8+ years in pharma/biotech and prior MSL leadership experience; Oncology exposure is preferred and travel to conferences is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific terminal degree (MD/PhD/PharmD) with 8+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience managing field-based medical teams in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA guidelines.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for conferences and KOL/HCP interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the MSLs within their region.
• Develop individual talent within the MSL team, including goal setting and coaching.
• Provide field-level scientific leadership in assigned therapeutic area(s).
• Collaborate with cross-functional and alliance leadership.
• Ensure targets are clearly defined and accountability is driven.
