Job summary

Eisai seeks an Associate Director or Director, MSL, Oncology to lead the MSL team in the West Region, partnering with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to shape scientific strategy, coach talent, and drive compliant KOL/HCP engagement.

Requires an advanced degree (MD/PhD/PharmD) with 8+ years in pharma/biotech and prior field-based leadership; travel to conferences; competitive salary with annual incentive and long-term incentive plans.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific terminal degree with 8+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading field-based medical teams.
• Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPPA, PhRMA and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the MSLs within their region.
• Develop individual talent within the MSL team, including goal setting and performance assessments.
• Provide field-level scientific leadership in assigned therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and alliance leadership.
• Ensure targets are defined and accountability is driven within the organization.
