Job summary

Eisai is seeking a Director/Associate Director, MSL, Oncology for the West Region. This field-based leadership role directs MSL teams, shapes scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, and partners with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to support studies and strategy.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced scientific degree and 8+ years in pharma/biotech with strong oncology exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and a travel-ready posture for ongoing KOL/HCP interactions.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 8+ years of experience in the pharma/ biotech industry.
• Experience managing field-based medical teams.
• Practical understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA and other guidelines.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Travel required for conferences, meetings and KOL/HCP interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the MSLs within their region.
• Develop individual talent within the MSL team, including goal setting and coaching.
• Provide field-level scientific leadership in assigned therapeutic area.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and alliance leadership.
• Ensure targets are clearly defined and accountability is driven in the organization.
