Job summary

Eisai in Denver seeks an Associate Director/Director, MSL, Oncology to lead a field-based team of Medical Science Liaisons across the West region. You will provide scientific leadership, develop talent, partner with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development, and drive cross-functional collaboration to advance oncology programs.

Ideal candidate holds an advanced scientific degree with 8+ years in pharma/biotech, and travel is required to engage with KOLs and HCPs at offices and conferences.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 8+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience managing field-based medical teams and leadership roles.
• Familiarity with FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA guidelines and oncology focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the MSLs within their region.
• Develop individual talent within the MSL team, including goal setting and performance assessments.
• Provide field-level scientific leadership collaborating with home office medical colleagues.
• Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross-functional and alliance leadership.
• Ensure targets are clearly defined and accountability is driven across the organization.
