Job summary

Eisai is seeking an Associate Director/Director, MSL in Oncology to lead the regional MSL team, shape scientific strategy and guidance, and partner with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development. Travel and field leadership are required to influence KOLs and HCPs across the West Region.

The role emphasizes leadership, talent development, regulatory understanding, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance clinical studies and patient care while maintaining industry standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in pharma/biotech
• Experience managing field-based medical teams
• Experience with regulatory/ethical guidelines (FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of MSLs within the region
• Develop talent within the MSL team including coaching and performance assessment
• Provide field-level scientific leadership in therapeutic areas in collaboration with home-office colleagues
• Collaborate with cross-functional and alliance leadership
• Ensure clear targets and accountability within teams
