Job summary

Eisai Inc. is seeking a Director/Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison, Oncology to lead a regional team of MSLs. You will collaborate with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to support clinical studies and communicate scientific insights to internal stakeholders.

The role requires an advanced life-sciences degree, 8+ years in pharma, and prior field-based leadership with travel to conferences and KOL/HCP engagements.

Qualifications

Advanced terminal degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) with 8+ years in pharma/biotech.
Experience managing field-based medical teams.
Familiar with FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA guidelines.
Oncology experience preferred.
Travel required for conferences and KOL interactions.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, direction and management of the MSLs within their region.
Develop individual talent within the MSL team, including goal setting, oversight of activities, coaching, performance assessment, development, and engagement.
Provide field-level scientific leadership in assigned therapeutic area(s) with home office medical colleagues.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and alliance leadership.
Ensure targets are defined and accountability is driven within the organization.
