Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across the country. This role covers critical public safety communications technologies, devices, broadband networks, and integrated command and control solutions.

The position involves working with the Sales Team, defining project directions, providing engineering services, and preparing system bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience (or 8+ years in the same field).
• LMR experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end, customer-driven solutions across national engagements.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs, equipment, and product group modifications.
• Coordinate with operations and other developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
