Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer who will manage presale opportunities and oversee the implementation of complex projects across nationwide customers. You will work closely with the Sales Team to deliver leading-edge solutions for public safety, government, utility, transportation, and enterprise sectors.

The role emphasizes defining requirements, commissioning and testing equipment, and preparing system bids aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in sales/sales engineering/public safety.
• Or 8+ years of sales/sales engineering/public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications skills and ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven end-to-end solutions nationwide.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contracts.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and equipment availability and product group modifications.
• Coordinate with operations and other developers of networking products to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
