Job summary

FANUC America is seeking a District Account Manager for the Education Market West to drive direct and ESP distribution sales across schools, industry training, and government partners within a multi-state territory (WA, OR, CA, AZ, NV, MT, ID, WY, UT, CO, NM).

You will manage accounts, develop strategic plans for Robot, Robodrill and CNC segments, build partnerships, and lead negotiations to grow FANUC education offerings while delivering strong results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field, or equivalent relevant
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a sales position, preferably selling capital equipment, with proven skills in customer selling, sales engagement, project management, and
• Technical competency in automation applications from actual experience or formal education with a working knowledge and demonstration of robots and robotic/CNC applications.
• Ability to demonstrate a robot, which includes operating robot and AV equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities within specified accounts or territory including all direct selling efforts to schools in coordination with ESPs to meet or exceed yearly sales metrics.
• Manage and own all activities within specified product segment (Robot, Robodrill, CNC) to meet or exceed yearly targets in units, revenue, and gross.
• Develop and implement strategic selling plans for the FAC education offerings.
• Negotiate successful sales that maximize FANUC’s interests and outcomes.
• Interface with FANUC resources and customers on sold projects to ensure complete understanding of scope and execution.
• Participate in kickoff and status meetings to assure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Solicit input from customers on product operation and new requirements to guide product improvements and new offerings.
