Job summary

FANUC America Corporation in the Cincinnati/Dayton region is seeking a District/Account Manager to grow our robotic automation business by directly selling applications and managing FANUC America Integration partners within the territory.

The successful candidate will have a background in robots and automation, with established regional contacts and a proven track record in selling capital equipment to plants and engineering offices. Travel and client-facing responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with customer interface or selling in a capital equipment environment.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Technical competency in automation applications from actual plant experience or formal education.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities within specified accounts including direct selling efforts to plants and engineering offices to meet targets.
• Develop and implement strategic selling plans for accounts and manage resources to win the business.
• Coordinate FANUC America integrator network to expand sales to end users within the territory.
• Build relationships with key personnel in plants and engineering and establish FAC as a sustaining resource.
• Prepare scopes of work, provide pricing direction, and review proposals to ensure clear understanding and profitability.
• Interface with customers on sold projects to ensure deliverables are understood.
• Participate in kickoff and status meetings to ensure project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Solicit customer input on product improvements and new requirements to stay competitive.
• Forecast company assets monthly and assist with collections of overdue payments.
• Travel to customer sites, tradeshows, and events within and outside the territory.
