Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a West Coast Account Manager to travel across California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona, working directly with composite fabricators to understand their needs and grow key accounts.

The role requires strong relationship-building, market insight, and team collaboration. The position offers a competitive salary of $125,000 to $150,000 plus bonus, with up to 50% travel (typically 30–40%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Business, Chemistry or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Technical and/or Management.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across the organization.
• Understanding of the composites industry and selling processes.
• Proficient in Excel and SAP; Salesforce experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 30–50% depending on location and training needs; travel may be 30–40% in practice.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and develop new accounts with composite fabricators.
• Collaborate with Sales team to train and coordinate activities during onboarding.

Our client is a leading producer of FRP composite materials and is looking to add a West Coast Account Manager. Travel through California, Oregon, Washington State, Nevada and work directly with customers to understand their needs, build relationships and new accounts with composite fabricators! Strong position in the market, and low turnover, make this a great opportunity!

Duties

Travel could be up to 50% depending on desire, but since Covid, it’s more like 30-40% and it depends on the candidate’s home location. Will work with other Sales Rep / Manager during training period. Customers are in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona.

Salary

$125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree. Business, Chemistry or Engineering degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Technical and / or Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others, is a team player and builds business relationships through the organization.
• Fundamental understanding of the Composites Industry and related processes.
• In-depth knowledge of the selling process, company business process, policies, technology, and plant capabilities.
• Sales management tools including - Sales planning and forecast modeling.
• Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills. Must have demonstrated reasonable capability in using Excel and SAP data.
• Experience in using Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce is preferred. Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, listening skills, discretionary behavior.
