Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a West Coast Account Manager to travel regionally and manage key customer relationships across California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and adjacent markets.

You will identify customer needs, present tailored solutions and drive revenue growth with a field-based, collaborative approach. The role requires 5+ years in sales/management, strong communication, and a deep understanding of the composites sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in Business, Chemistry, or Engineering.
• 5+ years in Sales, Technical and/or Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, team player, builds business relationships.
• Strong understanding of the composites industry and related processes.
• Knowledge of selling processes, company policies, and plant capabilities.
• Experience with Sales planning and forecast modeling.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 50% (roughly 30-40% post-Covid) to support customers in CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ.
• Work with other Sales Reps/Managers during training.
• Understand customer needs and build relationships with composite fabricators.
• Develop and grow new accounts through effective sales strategies.
• Present solutions and close opportunities with cross-functional teams.

Our client is a leading producer of FRP composite materials and is looking to add a West Coast Account Manager. Travel through California, Oregon, Washington State, Nevada and work directly with customers to understand their needs, build relationships and new accounts with composite fabricators! Strong position in the market, and low turnover, make this a great opportunity!

Duties

Travel could be up to 50% depending on desire, but since Covid, it’s more like 30-40% and it depends on the candidate’s home location. Will work with other Sales Rep / Manager during training period. Customers are in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona.

Salary

$125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree. Business, Chemistry or Engineering degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Technical and / or Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others, is a team player and builds business relationships through the organization.
• Fundamental understanding of the Composites Industry and related processes.
• In-depth knowledge of the selling process, company business process, policies, technology, and plant capabilities.
• Sales management tools including - Sales planning and forecast modeling.
• Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills. Must have demonstrated reasonable capability in using Excel and SAP data.
• Experience in using Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce is preferred. Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, listening skills, discretionary behavior.
