Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking a West Coast Sales Rep for FRP composite materials. Travel across California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and adjacent markets to understand customer needs, build relationships and grow new accounts with fabricators.

Salary ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 plus bonus, with a strong team and collaborative environment. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (Business, Chemistry or Engineering preferred) and 5+ years in sales, technical or management roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Technical and/or Management roles.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Fundamental understanding of the composites industry and selling processes.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 30–40% depending on location; primarily West Coast markets.
• Collaborate with other Sales reps and managers during training.
• Develop and manage accounts with composite fabricators in CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ.
• Communicate value propositions and close technical sales opportunities.

West Coast Sales Rep - FRP Composite Materials

Our client is a leading producer of FRP composite materials and is looking to add a West Coast Account Manager. Travel through California, Oregon, Washington State, Nevada and work directly with customers to understand their needs, build relationships and new accounts with composite fabricators! Strong position in the market, and low turnover, make this a great opportunity!

Duties:

Travel could be up to 50% depending on desire, but since Covid, it's more like 30-40% and it depends on the candidate's home location.

Will work with other Sales Rep / Manager during training period. Customers are in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona.

Salary $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Business, Chemistry or Engineering degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Technical and / or Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others, is a team player and builds business relationships through the organization.
• Fundamental understanding of the Composites Industry and related processes.
• In-depth knowledge of the selling process, company business process, policies, technology, and plant capabilities.
• Sales management tools including - Sales planning and forecast modeling.
• Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills.
• Must have demonstrated reasonable capability in using Excel and SAP data.
• Experience in using Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce is preferred.
• Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, listening skills, discretionary behavior.
