Job summary

CPS Inc. has a client seeking a West Coast Sales Rep for FRP composite materials. You will cover California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and parts of the West Coast, building new accounts and servicing clients.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in sales or related roles, with strong Excel, SAP, Salesforce and presentation skills. Travel up to 30-40% depending on location. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business, chemistry or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, technical and/or management experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across the organization.
• Strong understanding of the composites industry and selling processes.
• Experience with Sales planning, forecast modeling, Excel, SAP, Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Travel within CA, OR, WA, NV and adjacent areas; up to 30–40% depending on location.
• Develop new accounts and strengthen relationships with composite fabricators.
• Work with Sales Reps/Managers during training; coordinate with clients.
• Present solutions and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

West Coast Sales Rep – FRP Composite Materials

Our client is a leading producer of FRP composite materials and is looking to add a West Coast Account Manager. Travel through California, Oregon, Washington State, Nevada and work directly with customers to understand their needs, build relationships and new accounts with composite fabricators! Strong position in the market, and low turnover, make this a great opportunity!

Duties:

Travel could be up to 50% depending on desire, but since Covid, it’s more like 30-40% and it depends on the candidate’s home location. Will work with other Sales Rep / Manager during training period. Customers are in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona.

Salary $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Business, Chemistry or Engineering degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Technical and / or Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others, is a team player and builds business relationships through the organization.
• Fundamental understanding of the Composites Industry and related processes.
• In-depth knowledge of the selling process, company business process, policies, technology, and plant capabilities.
• Sales management tools including – Sales planning and forecast modeling.
• Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills.
• Must have demonstrated reasonable capability in using Excel and SAP data.
• Experience in using Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce is preferred.
• Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, listening skills, discretionary behavior.
