Job summary
Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to join our West Coast Sales Team in Santa Clara, CA. You will be the engineering resource on the sales team, leading technical aspects of the sales cycle and supporting product development and presentations.
The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years of experience in design-win support, and proficiency with modeling tools and MS Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins.
- Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Products.
Responsibilities
- Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle.
- Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products.
- Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
- Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries.
- Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors.
- Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
- Some travel will be required.
