Job summary

Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a Manager, Business Development - West Coast to drive growth in the North American Western States and Provinces. You will lead prospecting, develop opportunities through the full sales cycle, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals and seamless project handoffs.

Based on the West Coast, this full-time role requires at least five years in pharma BD or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to travel 30–50%.

Qualifications

• Completion of a University Degree or equivalent with a B.Sc., B.A in business or related field is required.
• An advanced degree such as an MBA or Masters/Doctorate in related scientific field would be considered beneficial but not required, equivalent professional experience will be considered equally.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of CPL’s service offerings and competitive differences to enable effective positioning.
• Respond to and manage inbound inquiries and collect opportunity information.
• Establish and maintain a prospect and assigned customer contact plan to maximize new business opportunities.
• Educate prospects and customers about CPL’s service offerings through meetings and trade shows.
• Prepare communications to cross-sell and up-sell existing customers.
• Maintain and manage new business opportunities and quote pipeline in CRM.
