Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies. You will own growth across the Life Sciences Cell Therapy network and drive full lifecycle deals from target to close, sitting on the West Coast with global collaboration.

Experience in CGT, CMC/GMP, and multi-stakeholder enterprise selling is required. The role emphasizes executive engagement, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination to land compliant, high-value agreements and accelerate

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior-level business development, account management, or program management within biopharma/CDMO.
• Existing network across biopharma and CGT ecosystems; proven ability to originate and mature net-new opportunities.
• Demonstrated pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle enterprise sales.
• Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory and close high-value CGT/CDMO opportunities.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across R&D through QA/RA and Legal; manage evaluations and RFPs.
• Translate science to value across process development, tech transfer, scale-up, GMP manufacturing, and PPQ.
• Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders; cultivate champions and executive sponsors.
• Develop territory plans using market intelligence and accurate forecasts.
• Shape and negotiate contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions.
• Represent the brand at conferences and tradeshows; drive qualified pipeline.
• Partner with Demand Planning and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy.
• Maintain pipeline health and provide leadership with customer insights.
