Sleep Number Retail Corporation is seeking a Sales Manager to grow our retail sales career in a team-oriented environment. You will lead store operations, recruit and train staff, and drive customer relationships while delivering exceptional service and achieving sales goals.

The role offers uncapped commission, a base pay with a strong incentive structure, and comprehensive benefits. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends is expected in a fast-paced, high-end retail setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven sales management or team leadership with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
• Prior success recruiting, training, engaging and retaining top talent.
• Adept at using technology for store operations (POS systems) and sales presentations (interactive demos, iPad).
• Lead by example in a fast-paced, growth-oriented work environment; commit to continuous improvement.
• Motivated by a pay-for-performance compensation plan.
• Able to work a flexible schedule; evenings and weekends.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and demonstrate English proficiency; second language encouraged.
• Minimum HS diploma or equivalent; additional education/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a world-class customer experience.
• Use a proven sales process to identify each customer’s sleep needs and guide product selection.
• Build relationships with customers and team.
• Communicate product features, benefits, promotions, and store procedures.
• Provide timely follow-up and coaching to employees.
• Lead store operations, recruiting, training and sales functions, ensuring productivity and policy compliance.
• Leverage company programs to generate local market awareness and drive store traffic.
• Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results and exceed sales goals.
