Job summary

Massage Envy in Niskayuna, NY seeks a Membership Sales & Wellness Advisor to drive memberships, enhancements, and retail sales while building lasting relationships with members and prospects. You’ll promote the Wellness Program and deliver outstanding client service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You’ll be the brand expert on services and programs, with guidance from supervisors, and you’ll help maintain a welcoming lobby and spa-ready treatment rooms.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is required.
• Must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Confidence to perform on an incentive-based salary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Pay Transparency: $17-$19 Hourly PLUS Membership Sales Commissions

Responsibilities

• Responsible for selling memberships, enhancements and retail products
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals
• Build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members
• Membership Sales Advisors must have knowledge of and participate in all the Massage Envy services, programs, and products
• Creating a pleasant and professional atmosphere ensuring that the lobby, front desk, retail shelves, tranquility and treatment rooms are clean, organized, well-stocked and ready for clients.
• Helping to deliver outstanding customer service by assisting front desk staff with filing, organizing, shipping and receiving, and other tasks as needed so they're prepared to focus on clients.
• Supporting the delivery of our brand promise, "We help you take care of you," by ensuring that treatment rooms are client-ready and that service providers have everything they need to deliver amazing services.
• Upholding the Massage Envy core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
• Protecting our workplace culture by recognizing and supporting team goals and building positive relationships with team members.
• Answering phone calls.
• Setting and checking members and guests in and out for appointments.
• Greeting members and guests upon arrival.
• Promoting the Wellness Program.
• Re-engaging inactive members.
• Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following manager’s policies, procedures and direction.
• Accepting constructive criticism in a positive manner and using it as a learning tool.
• Staying updated on retail products and promotions.
