Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Team Leader for the 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday) at our Walker, MI plant. You will lead a production team, coach for safety, quality, productivity and morale, and resolve issues affecting delivery and quality.

The role emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and meeting customer needs with urgency. Ideal candidates are ready to take responsibility, able to work the shift schedule, and capable of supporting root-cause analysis and continuous

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours.
• Experience supervising production teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production team to meet safety, quality, productivity and morale targets.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and report abnormalities immediately.
• Verify product conformance to customer requirements and quality checklists.
• Monitor hourly production rates and keep hour-by-hour boards updated.
• Support production flow by covering in case of breaks or absenteeism.
