Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a Team Leader for our Walker, MI plant on the 3rd shift (10:30 PM–6:30 AM, Sun–Thu). You will coach the production team to meet safety, quality, productivity, and morale goals while addressing root-cause issues impacting delivery.

Expect responsibility for ensuring checks, labeling, and pack-out accuracy, with flexibility to cover breaks and downtime as needed. You will maintain hourly production boards, escalate downtime causes, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours and perform essential functions with/without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production team to meet daily standard work requirements in safety, quality, productivity, and morale
• Assist with root cause/problem solving for quality and delivery issues
• Ensure safety rules are followed and report abnormal conditions immediately
• Verify product being produced conforms to customer requirements
• Perform checks according to the quality checklist
• Verify label information and pack-out quantities are correct and sign off on labels
