Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Supervisor, Materials for the 2nd shift (1:30PM-10:30PM, M-F) at our Walker, MI plant. You will supervise workers, ensure accuracy of shipping records, and uphold our safety and quality policies inside an ESOP-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 15 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Understand and explain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Participate in preventive actions and corrective actions with problem-solving reporting.
• Conduct physical inventories of all product and operations as required.
• Work with customers on returnable containers maintenance.
