Qualifications
- Previous sales experience required.
- 4 - 5 years in the welding industry.
- AWS Certified Welding Sales Representative (CWSR).
- Associate Degree Welding (AAS) or equivalent education.
- Lean/Six Sigma background.
- Strong interest in welding processes and applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge of Airgas welding processes and applications to match customer needs.
- Travel to customer sites with an Advanced Fabrication Specialist to understand their processes.
- Provide information on Airgas welding products and services to customers.
- Conduct welding efficiency analysis and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Win new business and sales agreements with customers.
