Airgas is hiring a Welding Process Specialist in Long Beach, CA to drive opportunities, build relationships, and grow new business partnerships in the regional market.

The role analyzes market positions, develops technical and commercial solutions, supports account managers, and guides contract discussions through to execution. Qualified candidates have 7+ years in B2B sales or business development in industrial gases or related fields, plus a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a B2B sales or business development role in industrial gas or related industry.
• Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and developing new business.
• Leadership experience in managing teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities, build relationships, secure and grow new business partnerships.
• Analyze market positions, competitors' database, and trends; assist in defining long-term objectives and development plans.
• Deliver on development plans and identify new opportunities; build contacts with customers, networks, and government agencies.
• Develop marketing activities and materials; understand customer needs and develop technical and commercial solutions.
• Guide contract discussions, reach agreements, provide support during project execution; nurture relationships with strategic customers.
