Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Welding Line Lead in Nebraska to drive safety, quality, and efficiency in the Welding Shop. You will coordinate with supervisors, coach the team, and push continuous improvement across the line.

The role requires welding proficiency, forklift ability, and blueprint reading skills, with strong leadership to achieve production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently Welder C status or higher.
• Must be able to pass forklift driver's test.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Lead the welding cell and coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Shop Lead to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Coach and develop team members, track production metrics, and ensure proper use of tooling and PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized line and ensure readiness for shift handovers.
• Document downtime, productivity, and maintenance issues, and participate in RCA to reduce losses.
